Like the Word one can pick any part of this article to make any case at any time. This does not negate the wisdome of the article nor of the Word. Like the lessons of the Prophet some things are inevitable because God wills it.
Wisdom requires us to turn to God -- to do justice, love mercy and walk humbly with our God. I do not believe the core MEGA's do any of these.
So we are walking into a time where our society has turned its back on mercy, justice and God. The same thing the evangelists have been claiming for past 30+ years.
The nationalistic society of pre-Nazi fed the fervor for Hitler, all the while claiming to be doing God's will. The nationalistic societies of Isreal-Judah led to its demise and split into 12 tribes, all the while claiming to be doing God's will.
At the end of the dark times, God always prevails.
From Silvia, 2024.08. I believe we are all shaped by our experiences and the perceptions & stories we acquire because of these experiences. It guides our paths & the new experiences & information we seek & allow to bring in to our awareness. My experiences: A daughter of immigrants who lost all possessions & life style to a dictator’s harmful & evil actions. Taught me about the impermanence of life, especially as it relates to culture & traditions. Only reliance that matters, is the one based on God. The friends of Job tried to pass judgement and cultural legislation about the plight of Job's life. Their claim was they knew the truth of God. In the end God admonishes the friends for their words and deeds. Like Job, the US today is said to be sickly, failing and suffering. Like Job, the "friends/patriots" of th...
